Charges are now filed against a West Carrollton man for a stabbing incident in Miami Township on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Officers were dispatched to a residence on Orchard Run Road just before 2:30 p.m. They arrived to find the suspect actively assaulting a man with a knife.
Officers took Mario Agak, 40, into custody and immediately rendered aid to the victim, 41, who was removed by ambulance to the Kettering Health Center for treatment of serious wounds.
Agak is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on charges of attempted murder and felonious assault.
Miami Township officers continue to investigate a motive for the incident.
