Miami Township Police Department
The Miami Township Police Department is the largest township department in Montgomery County. Its authorized strength is based on available funding through two police operating levies.
The department holds the nationally recognized Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) Certificate of Compliance that recognizes the department’s commitment to public safety and professional excellence. It also hosts one of the top National Night Out events in the country, bringing the community together to promote an anti-crime message.

Citizens' Tool Box:

Electronic fingerprinting for state/federal background checks for employment and licensing are available, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $35 each for BCI and FBI checks. Call (937) 433-2301 in advance to make an appointment.
The Safe Senior Program provides residents a safe and secure program that identifies, locates and assists seniors during an emergency. Signing up for the program is voluntary. It is free, but may involve a charge if you choose the lock box option.

Calling Card Door Hangers will alert you when an officer has responded to your residence to investigate a reported infraction. Actions such as barking dog warnings, open garage door checks, parking violations and others.
The Citizen Property Inventory System is a secure system to register your valuable property. It allows you to store serial numbers, item descriptions, pictures and scans of receipts so that your items can be quickly identified if lost or stolen. Register now and Report It.
