Public Works welcomes township children to become Snow Kids! This winter program gives your child, ages 5 - 17, the chance to see their name on the passenger side door of a snowplow for the winter season. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Names will be drawn at random on December 4, 2024. Selected Snow Kids will be notified by the contact information emailed to publicworks@miamitownship.com. Please include the following:
-Child's name
-Home address
-Email address
-Contact phone number
After selection, winning Snow Kids and their families will have the opportunity to tour our facility to see the snowplow trucks firsthand. They can meet the drivers, discuss our winter operations and sit inside a snowplow truck!
It is especially that we receive your home address so that the Snow Kids see their name on the truck in action this winter. Public Works will make every effort to add names to a snowplow whose route is through the child's neighborhood. Be sure your child stays a safe distance away as the snowplows drive by!
