Miami Township welcomes Cornerstone Research Group to our community. The company announced Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, its acquisition of the idle manufacturing facility at 8821 Washington Church Road. CRG expects to employ approximately 250 people at that location in the coming years, with an average salary of $60,000.
The township played a pivotal role in helping CRG secure a $200,000 Montgomery County ED/GE (Economic Development/Government Equity) grant as an incentive to operate within our borders. The grant was one of only two projects that received full funding from the ED/GE Committee.
According to a CRG news release, the new facility will house offices, production lines and labs, effectively expanding services offered at its current location in Miamisburg. Total project cost is projected to be $10 million. The Washington Church Road facility will undergo renovation and re-outfitting. CRG plans to begin moving some of their operations to the newly acquired facility in June.
CRG is a high-technology company that does research and manufactures products for the aerospace, defense and industrial sectors.
