[ARCHIVED] Miami Crossing launches update to Master Plan

Miami Crossing survey 2025

The Miami Crossing Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) is officially launching the process to update the Miami Crossing Master Plan. The Plan is a critical roadmap for transforming the area encompassing the Dayton Mall and its over 400 surrounding businesses, known collectively as Miami Crossing, into a vibrant, walkable, and mixed-use town center.

A Master Plan is a guide that expresses the goals and vision for a specific area. It looks at growth needs alongside community priorities such as land use, economic development, transportation, and connectivity. The updated plan will build upon the foundation of the 2015 Master Plan, carrying forward its core vision statements while addressing current market forces and future trends. It will ultimately serve as the basis for future public and private investment, land development regulations, and other policies, helping Miami Crossing realize its potential.

A Call for Input and Ideas. The JEDD is inviting all residents, businesses, property owners, visitors, and anyone who lives, works, or shops in the area, to contribute their ideas and insights. A survey is now live  at miamicrossingmasterplan.org. Input will be used to ensure the area evolves in line with the changes the community wants to see.
