The 2022 Miamisburg Asphalt Program is getting underway. It includes milling and paving several streets in the township:
- Washington Park Drive- Kingswood neighborhood
- Southlea Drive- Kingswood neighborhood
- Mardell Drive- Kingswood neighborhood
- Delvue Drive- Kingswood neighborhood
- Plamor Circle- Kingswood neighborhood
- Wymore Place- Kingswood neighborhood
- Rhapsody Drive- Singing Hills neighborhood
- Teagarden Circle- Spring Valley neighborhood
- Carnation Road (Section)- Spring Valley neighborhood
- Hyacinth Court- Spring Valley neighborhood
- Austin Landing
The program is contracted with Barrett Paving to complete the work that will begin in the Kingswood neighborhood in the northern township off Mad River Road.
Contractors say there should be only minor delays, if any, for drivers during the milling process. The paving should be completed about a week after all streets have been milled. Barrett Paving will first mill the surface layer and then within a week or so re-pave the roads. Roadways will remain open to thru traffic and to ER services, but there may be minor delays to accommodate higher traffic flows. Contractor crews and Miami Township staff will be on site for traffic control. Residents in affected areas should soon see no parking signage along the roads a day or two prior to construction activity.
