Miami Township is a Limited Home Rule township with an annual budget of approximately $20 million. It is governed by a three member Board of Trustees that are each elected to a four-year term. The fiscal officer is also elected to a four-year term. The township administrator reports directly to the Board of Trustees.
The Miami Township Board of Trustees meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Public comments are welcomed at these meetings.
View the meeting calendar.
Agendas for future Board of Trustees’ meetings will be available once finalized, typically on the Friday or Monday before the meeting. Minutes will be posted once they are approved, which is generally two weeks after the meeting.

Every Board of Trustees' meeting makes time for public comments. We encourage you to join us to share your ideas and voice your concerns. The Zoning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals also set aside time for public comments about projects.
The township does not spend public funds on lobbying. To ensure Miami Township’s views are represented at the state and federal levels, the township is involved with the Ohio Township Association.
